Keith progressed into the dispatch department where he stayed until 1991, before beginning his sales role out on the road. 31 years later, Keith continues to visit industrial and trade customers from Queenstown south, making him one of the longest serving sales reps on the roads around the Southern region.

the Year award, “Peter has a passion
for digital innovation and customer experience which are at the forefront of the Mitre 10 transformation programme,” says Mitre 10 NZ. Peter’s predecessor, Phil Coster, who was Mitre 10 NZ’s Chief Digital Officer until May 2022 and the co-op’s CIO over 2014-2021, joined the NZ Automobile Association as Chief Technology Officer earlier this year.
Oliver Munn has joined PlaceMakers as HUB Operations Manager for the Wellington region. Oliver is a former Store Manager for The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery.

Manufacturing, having previously been Team Blue’s Hamilton-based Regional Frame & Truss Manager since 2019. Jake comes armed also with eight and half years’ experience in and around builders’ merchanting and construction in the South African market.

MATES in Construction has two movers & shakers this month, the first being Rhonda Tyrrell, the organisation’s new Operations Manager. Rhonda comes with 20+ years of experience in operational management in the mental health and social service sectors and joins MATES from Lifeline Aotearoa where she spent the last six years as the Operations / General Manager.

is an experienced retailer with +30 years’ NZ sales and operational management experience with a CV that boasts various roles at Spark 2020-2022, and Retail Support Manager at Briscoe Group over 2011-2019.
Pamela Bell is the new Chief Executive of The New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB). The founder and former Chief Executive of PrefabNZ (now OffsiteNZ) and a leading advocate for sustainable, innovative building methods, Pamela takes over from Malcolm Fleming, recently named Chief Executive of construction sector membership association the New Zealand Certified Builders (NZCB).

Invercargill hardware retailer E Hayes
& Sons celebrates 90 successful years in business this year. Attributing much of its success to its loyal and hard-working staff, the company the iconic retailer was keen to pay tribute to two of its longest serving staff in particular.
