The judges called Paul Merritt “a standout winner”, while Cranford Street Branch Op, Alister Rance, says he’s not only “a benchmark in the local market” but also looks outside the square and offset a slowing market with new opportunities.
For his part, Paul says he feels “very proud and humbled
to win... It feels like a reward for over a decade of being not just an Account Manager for PlaceMakers but maybe a pretty good one!
“I am a big believer that all we have to set us apart from the competition is ourselves, how we operate and conduct ourselves.
“We all sell the same stuff for much the same price, it comes down to how you do it, the manner you do it in and the ability you have for building strong, robust and loyal relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.”
