Ride-on Mowers
PREMIUM RIDE-ON DESIGNED TO PERFORM
CAMA PRODUCTS HAS recently
introduced new ride-on mowers from Greenfield and Cox.
The 24hp Greenfield Fastcut 2-2 (photo below left) achieves a 35-inch cut. Key features include Greenfield’s patented QuickLock differential and Variable Drive system, tried and proven since 1966. Cast-iron spindles, HD swing back flail blades, and electric PTO clutch make the Greenfield arguably the most
heavy-duty mower in its class. The new Cox Stockman range (Stockman Plus3 in photo below
right) features cast iron spindles, HD swing-back flail blades, an electric PTO clutch, and Autoloc Differentials. Live Drive models will be available from early 2021.
Both new models come with a five- year warranty.

The new Honda HF2625 HME
garden tractor is designed to maximise cutting and collecting performance while ensuring a comfortable ride. A synchronised timing belt maintains a 90° angle between the blades, resulting in improved cutting and a smoother ride due to the reduction of vibrations and an optimised airflow, in turn improving grass collection and mulching. The timing belt allows the blades to spin together constantly at a 90-degree opposed angle, providing a smooth and effective cut and collection. Cutting width is 122cm; collector capacity is 350L.
The blades have seven different height settings (30-90mm) and work inside
one cutter deck, providing much better airflow for gathering up the cuttings. This is essential for maintaining high levels of collecting performance and dramatically
reduces risk of clogging.
The four-stroke Pro-Spec GXV 660
V-twin engine impresses for power, reliability and fuel efficiency. The engine has cast iron cylinder sleeves and crankshaft bearings for longer
life, along with a larger air filter for improved performance. The hydrostatic transmission allows users to cut grass at their own pace as forward and reverse speeds are not controlled.
The HF2625 also features Honda’s Versamow selective mulching. With
a single lever, the machine will either collect grass cutting into the bag or finely shred and blow them into the lawn for a natural fertiliser. Meanwhile the Optiflow grass collection system reduces power loss and dust accumulation with powerful suction and a constant flow of air to completely fill the grass bag.

CUB CADET BATTERY RIDE-ONS
STANDERS ARE STILL relatively
new in New Zealand but ZTR Mowers has seen good interest in the concept from mowing contractors keen to try out a stander for themselves and experience a strong, more active operating position.
Andrew Peacocke of ZTR Mowers explains how Wright Stander Mowers are being received by the market and what to expect looking forward.
“Many operators understand the main benefits over sitting,” says Andrew, “and the brand recognition of Wright standers is better than expected, despite the brand not being represented in the NZ market for a number of years.”
Helping establish the stander concept Wright’s four entry-level
commercial models include 32-inch and 36-inch deck options that will fit through narrow gates where commercial ZTRs can’t go.
“These models are the best-value stander mowers available in NZ and are priced at a similar level to entry commercial ride-on zero turn mowers, making the choice of switching to a stander easier.
“Looking ahead, I expect we are
going to see increased interest in the full-commercial stander models, partly because the top-of-the-line Wright 61- and 72-inch models (see photo) with 37hp EFI engines have a compelling price advantage over a similar specification sit-down zero-turn.

ENGINEERED TO PERFORM TO
the same standards as their petrol- powered equivalents, Cub Cadet’s new Lithium-ion electric ride-on mowers provide a superior cut quality without the power fade often associated with lead- acid electric ride-on mowers.
Cub Cadet’s E30 Lithium-ion electric ride-on lawn mower (photo above right) has a 1500Wh, 30Ah, 56V max battery, which provides runtime up to an hour, or up to one acre of mowing per charge, while the ENX15 ride-on (photo above left) has a 3000Wh, 60Ah battery, and
mows for up to 1.5 hours, or up to two acres per charge.
All Cub Cadet Lithium-ion electric ride-on lawn mowers come with an Anytime-Fast-Charger that allows
users to partially charge the ride-on if additional mowing is required and fully recharge both ride-ons in approximately four hours.
The Lithium-ion batteries are designed to last for the lifetime of the product
and are backed by a four-year battery warranty.
