Many pluses to Allegion’s new NZ home
ALLEGION NZ FORMALLY launched its new premises with an open house on 19 November.
The new 5,800m2 facility is situated behind the former premises occupied since the 1970s and provides Allegion’s team of 100 with a new, energy efficient, safe and healthy work environment, along with many convenient amenities.
There is a new showroom to display new product innovations, a sizable training room, meeting rooms with full video conferencing capabilities, and space to grow.
The new facilities will also of course significantly increase Allegion’s local manufacturing core competencies, with far more warehouse and manufacturing space plus a new and fully automated gantry-type electroplating plant and a polishing shop.
By controlling the end-to-end processes, Allegion says that its lead- times on special finishes will reduce to 10 working days.
