Husqvarna is a pair of professional hedge trimmers. The 522HS75S (top right photo) is a 21.7cc, single-sided hedge trimmer with a 30” cutter bar

Husqvarna’s
522HDR60S is a double-
sided hedge trimmer with a 60cm
cutter bar and high torque gear for
tougher cuts and reliable and durable construction mean long maintenance and service intervals. A multi-position handle and low weight provide excellent handling, while the high capacity blades, open blade guard and impressive cutting capacity allows for reliability and high work output.
Also new, the Husqvarna Battery Belt FLEXI system is ideal for comfortable, productive working far away from an electrical outlet. Putting the weight on the user’s waist rather than the arms reduces fatigue for longer
runtimes and more working. It also means users
can carry spare batteries, oil, water and accessories
easily. Robustly constructed from high quality
materials, it’s designed for flexibility, comfort and convenience.
Available in October are two new wet & dry vacs. The higher capacity WDC 325L meets the requirements of dust class L (where not more than 1% of extracted dust to pass out of the filter is allowed), while the WDC 220 is compact and user-friendly, with washable PET filter, a smart lifting handle on the container and a robust design which make it ideal for everyday tasks.
Last but not least is a trio of Professional Manual Sprayers, ranging from the 15 Litre Back Pack Sprayer with extra comfort backpack harness with lumbar support (pictured above), an 8 Litre Manual Sprayer with efficient easy repair pump, no tools required, to the 1.5 Litre Hand- Held Sprayer with all-in-one integrated pump & spray assembly.

The new STIHL HLA 56 Long Reach Hedgetrimmer
takes the strain out of cutting taller garden hedges and shrubs.
Adjustable for vertical and overhead cutting and with a constant blade stroke, regardless of load, HLA 56 boasts a single-sided cutter blade in a droplet shape, a toolless adjustable blade angle from -45° to +90° for cutting hedge tops and sides and a detachable shaft for easy transport.

WORLD-FIRST BIODEGRADABLE GLOVES
Showa has launched the world’s first range of biodegradable gloves using Eco Best
Technology (EBT).
EBT accelerates the biodegradation of nitrile in biologically active landfills and
anaerobic digesters because it’s composed of organic materials designed to make the gloves attractive to microbial activity.
Upon consuming the EBT material, these microorganisms excrete enzymes that depolymerise the nitrile, with the final result being biogases and inert humus.
