Nick Bright is heading to Canada with Husqvarna Group as GM
of the Canadian
Gardena Brand
Division. Nick
already has a
decade with the
Swedish brand under his belt, most recently as Husky NZ’s General Manager Gardena and Consumer Brands since 2014. Some might also remember Nick from his eight years as National Sales Manager with Black & Decker NZ. We wish Nick and family the best with their new adventure.
Phil Coster, Mitre 10 NZ’s Chief Digital Officer and previously CIO for the last eight years, has just joined the AA as Chief Technology
Officer. He was recently recognised for his skills as a Finalist in the 2021 CIO Awards.
Lorraine Fitzpatrick has joined
Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate and Henderson stores as General Manager Trade. Lorraine was previously National Key Account Manager with Fairview Windows & Doors, following almost seven years at Winstone Wallboards and Ecco Pacific before that. Lorraine says she is “looking forward to working with Dave and Elaine Hargreaves and their amazing team to deliver a customer leading experience. The new Trade store is epic and is a must-see!”

New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC), Director of Engagement at the New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA), 11 years at Resene, and four years with Winstone Wallboards. Jo starts her new role on 2 May.
Dr Tim Fisher
is the new Board President of Engineering New Zealand. Having already served on Engineering New Zealand’s Board for four
years, most recently as Deputy President, he is the Managing Director of Tonkin
+ Taylor Group and Technical Director of Water Engineering. Tim’s vision is for engineers to be the leading professional group, known for helping create resilient, sustainable economies and communities, and solving society’s problems.
Stephen Fleming
ONZM has
renewed his
contract with
Fujitsu General
New Zealand as
the company’s
brand ambassador,
taking the
partnership to 25 years, not out. The contract renewal makes the former Black Caps star’s partnership with Fujitsu General one of the longest brand ambassador collaborations in New Zealand.
Darran Lees has left his role of the last three-plus years as Kingspan Thermakraft’s General Manager Sales & Marketing for New Zealand & Australia to
return to James Hardie as Residential Market Manager. Prior to joining Thermakraft, Darran was National Sales Manager Channel at James Hardie
Building Products APAC, following three years at CSR Himmel Interior Systems in Australia, time as National Sales Manager at Laminex NZ and an interim role at Tasman Insulation.
Nicole Parker is the new ANZ Director of Marketing & eCommerce for Weber Barbecues Australia & New Zealand. Nicole was previously Country Manager – Australia & New Zealand for the Bodum brand before which she spent nine years at Nestlé Nespresso SA, latterly as Head of Consumer Sales.

Matt Suckling
has joined The Interiors Group as Branch Manager, after six years as Branch Manager at Mitre 10 MEGA Hastings. The Interiors
Group specialises in flooring and window furnishings with 70+ locations and 600+ employees across the Carpet Court, Floor Store, and CurtainStudio banners. An experienced, award- winning retailer, Matt’s CV prior to joining Mitre 10 MEGA includes no less than 14 years in branch management with Noel Leeming.
