                Introducing
Comfortech
WHILE GENERAL MANAGER Anthony Stone had already informed a range of stakeholders and customers about the impending launch of Comfortech Building Performance Solutions, the official release came as a surprise to many.
Revealed without fanfare during Fletcher Building’s investor day proceedings, Comfortech is a new entity formed from the merger of Forman Building Systems and Tasman Insulation.
The result? “One company merged from a solid foundation of industry skills and experience in order to be future ready, faster, and more efficient at doing what we do best,” said Anthony Stone’s communication.
“Our goal is to be leaders and experts in building performance solutions that will create NZ’s most comfortable homes and workplaces.”
The new Comfortech brand is “all
about creating better, more comfortable homes and businesses in step with goals around sustainability.
“Building for climate change and energy-efficiency is a critical part of what we need to do as an industry, and we want to be at the forefront of helping to do that.
“We’ll offer the same expertise in our respective fields. The same expert advice. The same dedication to servicing the building industry.
“We’ll just be doing it better, more efficiently and more sustainably, which will help ease the pressure on you.”
With a substantial portfolio spanning products and services across ceilings, walls, insulation, passive fire, wraps
& underlays, as well as encompassing Tasman and Forman products and services, we’d say that Comfortech is far more than “just” a merger of Tasman and Forman.
