“Did we get ‘em?” Johannes saw what happened on the Discord call and asked. “Nah fam, Mark shot it in full-auto.” Manu answered back.
“Well crap.”
While Manpreet and Johannes were conversing, Mark switched the M4’s firing mode to semi-auto- matic and took out the magazine. He found a single full-metal jacket.
“I got 1 shot left, I’ll make it count!” Mark got up and interrupted Johannes and Manpreet. He went back to his previous sniping position before Manpreet could do anything. He looked into the scope and saw the sniper again.
However, this time, the sniper was wounded with blood spilling on this camo uniform. He was hold- ing the rifle with the determination to kill the sniper that sniped him.
Mark saw this all unfolding right before his eyes. He had to shoot now! It was either kill orbe killed! He hesitated for a moment, thinking about the act he was about to commit.
“JUST DO IT!”, Manpreet shouted at Mark.
Mark then immediately snapped out of his trance and fired the M4 at the sniper. The bullet hit the sniper on the head with pinpoint accuracy, which led the sniper to immediately fall from his position and hit the ground with a large thud!
Mark was now sweating profusely, he looked at Manpreet and asked while breathing heavily., “Hey Manu, how do you know about the light refracting from the sniper’s scope?”
“Battlefield 1 noob.”. Manpreet replied chilly.

Manpreet and Mark both walked downstairs, back to Johannes and the rest of their classmates.
When they arrived on the first floor, everyone else were all getting ready to leave, while Johannes was cleaning the blood on his penetrated helmet.
Everyone looked at Mark and Manpreet and gave them respect for taking out the sniper with fist bumps, high fives and back slaps, but Johannes had to cut the celebration short as they had to leave the school as quickly as possible.
Johannes put on his penetrated helmet and asked Mark and Manpreet, “Can I have my stuff back, please? Spent a lot of money on loot boxes to get them.” Mark and Manpreet gave back their respec- tive equipment to Johannes, who quickly removed the scope attachment and reattached the dot
