open and pointed the gun to whatever laid inside of the classroom. That classroom contained some of the people that he hated the most, but he was done with shooting up the school. Instead, he was here to check on the “survivors.”
He lowered his gun to find that all of them were still there as he left them in the classroom. Johannes took off his gas mask and hung it on his utility pack. “I told you guys that I wouldn’t kill ya.”, Jo- hannes said with a tone, which had an “I told you so” vibe. The so-called survivors were the people that Johannes chose not to gun down on purpose.
He, however, didn’t gun down everyone in the school, only the ones that he hated, as the rate of fire and ammunition capacity of an M4 Carbine was neither as fast and large enough respectively to gun down everyone in sight, with the same effectiveness as a machine gun. He didn’t choose to kill ev- eryone as he needed people to spread his legacy. Moreover, he thought that it wasn’t realistic to kill everyone in a school shooting because most schools had too many people to shoot down, and people running in crowds would usually play dead or use other shot up bodies as meat shields to prevent themselves from being shot.

Johannes’ objective was simple: he had to escort the “survivors” to safety as he didn’t want his class-
mates, who he thought didn’t deserve to die to be involved in the next part of his plans, which would cause complications as innocent civilians would become casualties.
The names of the survivors were Mark, Saad, Abiral, Hashim, Taranbir and Manpreet. They were left behind in the classroom because Johannes instructed them to stay there; he told them to “Get down if you wanna live! ... I’ll be back.”
He shot some of the other people that tried to escape or fight back just to prove his point. He told the rest of the survivors to follow him. As they were walking in the corridor of the 3rd floor, Johannes tried to converse with his classmates. He started to talk to Mark.

“Hey Mark, remember when I told you that I would kill you last? ... I lied” Johannes then pointed his
M4 at Mark.
Mark was scared sheetless, he froze where he stood.
“Nah, just kidding.”, Johannes said with a joking tone. “The fudging thing is on safety, so I can’t really kill ya...but will I?”
Johannes and his classmates continued to walk towards the staircase in silence, while Johannes was laughing at his own joke. All of them continued to walk in silence until Saad asked Johannes “So... what happened to our class teacher?”
“Well I shot her in the back, turned her over, cut her open with my butcher’s knife and took her heart and crushed it while she was still alive right in front of her eyes.” Johannes answered nonchalantly.
