Newswatch/Website Report – Ed will re-print the article from “Ask The Advocate” regarding how to prevent grass clippings in the storm drains. Ed will publish an article letting people know it’s against the law to blow grass clippings into the streets and storm drains. Deputies will begin issuing tickets referencing the specific city ordinance against obstruction of drainage.
Entrance Sign Committee Report –Sandy reported that he had met with representatives from Entergy and Total Electric, who does the camera hookup, to look into moving the utility pole on the front lot so it’s not in front of the new sign. He is also looking into putting a water meter on our property to be able to use water for irrigation of plantings around the new sign.
Unfinished Business –
AT&T 5G Small Cell Towers- SHA thought it was in the best interests of the residents to assist the Federation of Greater Baton Rouge Civic Associations in their attempt to have the city make improvements to the process of permitting and placement of the AT&T 5G Small Cell Towers. SHA donated $1,000 to the Federation for this cause. The Task Force will be meeting tomorrow at 6:30 at St. Paul Methodist Church to discuss ordinance language from other municipalities and the Phase II EBR ordinance update.
