Daddy and Aunt Gin would talk about the horrible experience she had living with Old Lady Crowder and how mean she was to not only Aunt Gin but the rest of the Craig kids. Daddy says they would be out on her farm and at times they would be so that they would eat grass. Aunt Gin and Daddy would talk about it a lot when they were together even up into their old age. They both said Old Lady Crowder just wanted a maid and Aunt Gin worked very hard.
