The first time I noticed this behavior was one evening when the pack was having a songfest. Now, you might not recognize what these wolves were doing as singing but they were very serious about it.
Right in the middle of their howling, the leader stopped them to tell one of the younger wolves that he was not doing it correctly.
The young wolf immediately said that he was doing it correctly and that it must be one of the others who were off key. The leader said very nicely, I was listening and I could tell it was you. Now, let’s try it again and please pay a little more attention.
