1. Remove the camera from its housing.

4. Be sure the camera is powered off.
5. Charge the battery by connecting the camera to a computer
using the included USB cable. The red status light turns on during
charging and turns off when the battery is fully charged.
The included lithium-ion battery comes partially charged. No damage occurs to the camera or battery if used prior to a full charge.
2. Remove the camera side door and insert a microSD, microSDHCTM or microSDXCTM card into the card slot. A microSD card with a Class 10 or UHS-1 rating is required.
3. Open the camera backdoor, insert the battery and close the camera back door.
