1. Mousy figured out the best way to win the “Cheese Game.” But then she was accused of cheating. What emotions was she feeling?
Embarrassed and angry.
2. What did she then do and what happened (behavior)?
Tried to get another piece of cheese and got caught by the cat..
3. What was she telling herself that caused this behavior and those emotions?
Others were not impressed with her now and she needed them to think she was smart and brave.
4. What would you suggest that Mousy tell herself about the “Cheese Game,” so that she would have had more reasonable emotions and better behavior?
It is just a game and I know that I figured out how to win. If they think that I am going to do something stupid to show that I am “brave,” they are wrong.
