You probably have classmates who behave just like the boys in our story. Some will get angry at the least little thing.
Some are quick to get scared or embarrassed. And you probably have a few classmates who don’t seem to let very much upset them.
These baseball players can teach you a very important lesson. What you tell yourself about a situation or person determines how you feel and how you behave.
If you control your thinking and make sure that it is correct and reasonable, you will probably have appropriate emotions and will behave adequately.
There are times and circumstances when it is appropriate to become angry or sad. But far too many children and adults allow their Stinky Thinking to control them and never consider if their anger, sadness or embarrassment is needed or appropriate.
