CHAPTER 6 Meeting A Music Legend
The year was 1966. While I was working in San Francisco, Voss Boreta came to me and said a huge star wanted to meet me and talk. I left my dressing room and was face to face with Rick Nelson and his wife Kris. Hard to believe, but I was invited to breakfast by someone I had idolized as a teenager growing up in Missouri and all I could think about were the times I had danced to his records. To say the least, I was thrilled to be in his and Kris’ company.
