I told the young crows to look at the playground and tell me what they saw. They all looked down and turned to me and said, Why people of course. I smiled and said, That’s right, people. And those people are about to tell you the story of Dr. Nice and Mr. Nasty. Now, I had all of the young crows’ attention because they wanted to know how humans could tell us crows a story.
I pointed my wing to three boys playing some type of ball game and told the young crows to pay attention to the game. In case you have not noticed, we wild animals seldom pay much attention to you humans, so this was kind of different for the young crows.
