Penny did a very good job making her web. But as you can tell from our story that was not good enough for Penny. Penny was only satisfied if her web was always "first place". Penny was only satisfied if her web was Perfect. But of course, nothing is ever that perfect. So Penny never did finish her web.
Now, I know that you humans are like us animals in that you like to win and receive the first place ribbons and all that kind of stuff. There is nothing wrong with wanting to win. But for Penny and some humans that I know, the want to win becomes a must win.
They are never satisfied with doing their best, they must be the best. As you probably already know, that does not always happen. That is when you are like Penny, always dissatisfied and unhappy.
In our animal world, we don’t have too many like Penny. You see, we only expect that you should do your best. If it doesn’t work this time, then you just try again. However, that was not good enough for Penny. She was never satisfied and so she never finished her web.
