Henry Grace, President of the Shenandoah Homeowners Association, representing the association presented Certificates of Appreciation to Diana Martin and Chester Welch at the Tuesday night, January 21st meeting of the Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District.
Chester Welch who has served on the Shenandoah Homeowners Association as well as a Commissioner and two year position as Chairman of the SECPID Board of Commissioners. Chester served on the SECPID Board of Commissioners since it
was commissioned in 2010. Chester and his wife have lived in Shenandoah Estates since 1996. Both retired in July 2015.
Chester has retired from the SECPID Board of Commissioners as of January, 2020.
Diana Martin has served on the Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District. Shenandoah Estates Crime Prevention and Improvement District as a Commissioner since it was formed in 2010. Diana also served as the Secretary of the SECPID. Both Chester and Diana are a
major part of the success of the SECPID and have served their community with honor. Public service can be a thankless job, long hours, no pay, not vacations but these two deserve the gratitude of the residents of Shenandoah Estates.
New Commissioners, Beth Scardin and Rev. Daryl Tate were sworn in by Sheri Morris, Attorney to the Board of Commissioners.
Beth Scardin was elected the new Secretary to replace Diana Martin.
