He was a stranger who did not know the customs or manners of our local owls. I found this so interesting that I made a point of catching Ollie alone to talk with him about what I had observed.
Ollie was more than willing to talk with me. The first thing he told me was because he was in a new place with new friends, he decided to just observe. Observe? I asked.
He told me that he wanted to see how others acted and how they treated each other. He paid attention to what they liked and didn’t like.
