Page 20 - SB-Woolly Whiners
P. 20
Now that you understand that the whining of the Woolly Whiners was caused by their Stinky Thinking, it is time to talk about changing it to Good Thinking.
Connie Crow explained that although they looked like bears, the Woolly Whiners did not think like bears.
What Good Thinking (thinking that makes sense and is in your best self-interest) did the bears use?
When a bear is asked to learn something difficult, they tell themselves, This may be difficult but if I work hard, I can learn it. Not everything is going to be fun all of the time. They would not ask me to learn this if it did not have some value.
By thinking things like this, a bear and you for that matter, will have OK emotions and will not be angry or frustrated. You will have Thumbs Up behavior because you will study and learn the school work.
