Once the Queen had convinced herself to follow the Elf’s plan to get the key to the Tree of Happiness, everything went really easily... right? Wrong! The first thing that happens is that her Advisors disagreed with her plan to build a road. They had all kind of reasons, some good and some bad. But they all felt very strongly that the Queen should not build the road.
It would be nice if your friends and family always agreed with you and your Good Thinking but that's not going to happen. The important thing for you to know is if your decisions are based on Good or Stinky Thinking. If your decisions are based on Good Thinking, with no attempt to be mean or hurtful to others, then you should do it. It may be unfortunate that others disagree but that does not mean that you should change your mind. Our Queen learned a very difficult but important lesson.
1. The advisors told the Queen that building the road was a bad idea. If she had allowed herself to think they were correct, how would she have felt?
2. What would she have done about building the road?
3. The Queen did not listen to the advisors because of her self-messages. What was she thinking?
4. How was she feeling because of her “Good Thinking?”
5. How did she act?
6. When others give you advice, is it always good advice?
