“Do you mean to tell me that all this commotion and them throwing things at you is because you don’t like chocolate?” asked my other cousin. “As best as I can figure,” said Squiggy.
My two cousins looked at Squiggy and one said to him,
“You know if I was with a bunch that treated me like this just because I had a different taste about something, I think I would move.” “But what if everyone else has a Chocolate Festival and they all hate me?” asked Squiggy.
“Oh I doubt that everyone is like this bunch but you may have to try several different colonies of squirrels before you find one with which you feel comfortable,” replied my cousin. “Sure,” said my other cousin. “There are bound to be other colonies that don’t demand that you are just exactly like them. I tell you what. You are rather small, so why don’t you hop on my back and we will fly you to another colony of squirrels on the other side of this park.”
“If you don’t like them or they don’t like you, we will take you somewhere else.” Squiggy smiled and said, “That would be ever so nice. I would really appreciate it.” Having said this, Squiggy climbed on the back of my larger cousin, who jumped into the air and they began to fly off into the dusk of the evening.
