Paul was making faces at the humans and they were laughing and clapping. I noticed that some of the humans were throwing treats to Paul. Finally, Paul’s mother went over and got him.
Pandas usually are very calm and quiet. But Paul’s mother was very upset. She was telling him that he needed to pay attention and learn his lessons. Paul was not arguing with his mother but I was not sure that he was really listening to her either. There was something about Paul that made me think, “This young panda has got some Stinky Thinking.”
Paul joined the others at the food class. They were learning which bamboo was the best to eat and how to find it. The adult panda seemed to know what he was talking about and it was very interesting.
But I was still a little confused. Why were they teaching about finding bamboo when the humans brought it to them each day? Then I noticed who wasn’t paying attention ... Paul.
