When you are young, you are supposed to learn the rules and ways to succeed as an adult. As a child, you may get fussed at if you are not civil. But as an adult, you will get in a lot of trouble, possibly fired from a job or arrested for fighting or worse. All of these adult problems can be avoided if you learn some simple “Civil Rules.”
BEING CIVIL RULES
Always treat others the way you would like to be treated. Always pay attention when others are speaking to you.
Never purposely try to embarrass or be mean to others. Never insist on having “your way” if that will cause harm to others. Use “Please” with a request.
Use “Thank You” even if your request is denied
