Marshall married Jean Mardis Tarbell on May 16, 1906, at the home of her parents. He was 23 and she was 17.
Jean Mardis Tarbell was born October 3, 1888. Her parents were George W. Tarbell and Marian Gertrude Anderson. It was rumored that Jean may have been adopted but there is nothing to substantiate that rumor. I intend to pursue the answer through DNA but that is another project that I will start at another time.
