   In 1910 when Louis was a child, he lived with his parents who were neighbors of Colmore and Nancy Craig, so Aunt Eva probably had known him since they were children.
In 1930, Eva and Louis lived in a 2-bedroom 1 bath house in Lockland, Ohio, built in 1897. They had 4 children under the age of 4 and Aunt Charlotte who also lived with them. They lived in Lockland, Ohio until 1935 when they moved to Seymour, Indiana.

The 1940 census shows them living in a $16 per month rented home at 316 Tipton Street in Seymour, Indiana with their 6 children (ages 7 to 13) Census also shows that Aunt Eva had an 8th grade education and that Louis had an annual income of $2,200.
On February 4, 1944, at the age of 41, Louis was accidently electrocuted.
