In fact, if you are not an Injustice Collector, others may see you as passive or weak as in, “I saw you talking to so-in-so and don’t you remember what they did to you last July.” If you have forgotten the incident or consider it insignificant, you are thought to lack in some basic “manly or womanly” quality and are to be pitied or ridiculed.
In our story, Cosmos is visiting the own of Squirrelmainia. Its most interesting quality is that when you experience an "injustice" (such as someone calling you a name) and you get upset (very angry or embarrassed, etc.), you get that “injustice” in a crystal sphere. Whatever event occurred, will be vividly displayed in your
injustice sphere.
As time goes on, an ignored sphere will fade and eventually disappear. But if you “take it out of its sack” and view it and relive the event with all of its “Not OK” emotions, it will become just as vivid as when it was first generated.
Of course, you do not have to generate these injustice spheres. If something happens (someone calls you a name) and you choose not to become upset (a new concept to many) then a sphere will not form. In addition, even a fter the sphere has formed, if you tell yourself, “This is not anything to upset myself about and I will not think about it again” the sphere will burst and disappear.
As an adult you recognize that the “crystal spheres” are our memories of something that has occurred or failed to occur and we usually refer to these phenomena as “holding a grudge” or something similar. You may think that this process is normal, typically human and healthy. It is normal and typically human but far from healthy.
