CONGREGATIONAL CARECongregational Care is Christ’s ministry of care, by and for all the members of  the congregation. Some of the support ministries that we ofer include prayer, hospital visits, weddings, funerals, Stephen Ministry, Congregational Care  Ministers, Grief Share, and Health Ministry in addition to classes and groups  on a wide variety of topics. 16  Annual Report 2017We are here to help and support. Our members have gone through addiction and recovery themselves or have had a family member or friend that has or had a drug or alcohol addiction.  ARM ofers support for the addict and for family or friends of the addict.  Questions? Email us (addictionrecovery@frstcary.com).  People in our congregation receive cards during times of stress. Cards are sent to our Insiders every month, to church members listed on the prayer concerns list, and to those who have lost a loved one. We would love for you to join the Card Ministry Team.Griefshare is a 13 week program designed to encourage healing by walking with others that are also grieving. Each week, diferent topics are addressed in relevant videos, with various individuals sharing their wisdom to promote healing. They share how they were able to fnd a “new normal” in their lives, flled with joy and hope for the future. If you have lost a loved one and are struggling with your grief, we encourage you attend Griefshare.ADDICTION RECOVERYMOVEMENTCARDMINISTRYGRIEFSHARECongregational Care Ministers (CCMs) complete training to prepare to serve as lay ministers to our congregation. All CCMs serve based on requests from the pastors. Over the past year they have prayed with many people, serving as the hands, feet, and heart of Christ. The CCMs visit our Insiders and others whom the pastors deem in need of a visit.
