BECAUSE OF OUR GENEROUS COMMUNITY, WE CAN...
TEN YEARS STRONG: A VISION REALIZED
St. Lillian Academy, a school for children who have communication and learning challenges, was founded in 2011 by a group of parents and therapists who for too long had watched families struggle along the same path, but in isolation. We knew there could be a better way. Ten years later, we have realized that vision of providing comprehensive education opportunities and intervention for skills acquisition on one campus, where they spend their days learning. This model contrasts the less effective model of bringing students to scattered, disconnected services in multiple locations.
Over the past ten years, St. Lillian Academy has experienced tremendous advancement. The impressive growth in academic offerings and enrollment; the continuation of our therapy partner ESP, pediatric therapy services for OT/ST and PT; the addition of therapeutic partner Touchstone for ABA services; establish- ment of St. Lillian High School; the move to a new larger campus at Broadmoor Baptist Church; and the new Employment Transition program in partnership with Merakey Gateway Transition Services and Louisiana Rehabilitation Services have transformed St. Lillian Academy into the great school it is today.
The Baton Rouge community and the state of Louisiana have benefitted from our growth. Through our holistic approach of academics and onsite wrap-around services, St. Lillian Academy provides a better way to serve children with commu- nication and learning challenges. And now it is your turn to help us with our growth. I encourage you to donate to the St. Lillian Academy Fund and help us celebrate 10 years of educating, equipping and empowering our students.
