Head of of of of of of of Upper School Brian Schlaak Schlaak said said that that the the the the the the the the Class of of of of of of of 2018 “will go for- ward as the most most most educated most most most diverse and most most most embracing of of change of of any generation in American history ” In addition Schlaak encouraged graduates to to dedicate their lives “toward the the the welfare of others ” and said that our hope was they would “’productively serve a world in need of their gifts ” “Teachers at the Priory are amazing it takes a a a a a a a a special type of person to want to to spend every day with a a a a a a bunch of loud teenagers In addition to to teach- ing us teachers still have the time to smile and be our friends ” said student speaker speaker David Quezada The second student speaker speaker Zoey Weiss touted her classmates “strange and and diverse” natures and and encouraged them to carry with them the the the the memories they made together The Middle School selected English faculty Amanda Bolsinger as the com- mencement speaker Bolsinger said “please in in in life don’t stop wandering We were gifted with one of of the the greatest examples of of this in Brother Edward He was always seen wandering slowly and and thoughtfully around campus ” Bolsinger said that life “is a a a a a a a a lovely meandering stroll pause and and soak it all in in ” In conclusion Head of Middle School Caitha Ambler said “All those spe- cial moments events games inside jokes friendships teachers coaches family trips trips lessons practical jokes field trips trips These are your your gold your your treasure Hold these close to your heart ” By Sean McLain Brown Photos by Jim Kirkland
