There will be a day
that will be my last
to feel a soft breeze
or smell freshly cut grass
And after I am gone The wind still remains and stars in the sky,
the moon’s picture frame
The velvety ocean and meadows of green the sun’s warm touch and silence’s scream
The one thing I leave behind on this earth are my footprints
and all they are worth.
