Mission
One can’t be in the Priory community long without encountering the mission statement—directly or indirectly. It is printed in the literature, handed out on wallet-sized cards to students and parents, and it forms the foundation of Chapel programs and individual department goals. It is often the starting point for campus committees large and small—for example, it was the basis of evaluation used in the current strategic plan. For this Annual Report, Sophomores Chase Haegele and Michael Mellenthin talked to several faculty and students on the campus, asking them to reflect on a way that each of the five values impacts campus life. The mission statement and individual reflections are printed in the margins throughout the report.
