Even the perfect harmony of the St. John’s Boys Choir couldn’t keep awake the little tyke on Grandma’s lap. Some 75 community residents came to the Priory Chapel for a delightful evening of music. The choir’s 35 young members are based at St. John’s Abbey in Minnesota, and they were hosted in the Priory’s Residence Halls for a few days during a June concert tour that took them from San Diego to Portland, Oregon.
Summer/Fall
The weather as well as the burger stand staffed by stalwart volunteer fathers were both sizzling at the annual Family Barbecue, held on the playing fields and under the shade of a huge open canopy on Sept. 21. Nevertheless, the entire school community enjoyed games and activities, great food and outstanding karaoke. National Honor Society and Model United Nations washed cars for a good cause—proceeds are shared between the clubs and charity.
