“Show me a family of readers, and I will show you the people who move the world.”
—Napoléon Bonaparte
I've been so lucky with the people I've found at Priory and it truly couldn't have been such a great experience without my amazing friends and teachers. I could never have hoped to have the same wonderful four years that I've had without each and every one of you. Thank you for putting up with me these past years and helping me through the insanity that is high school. Your support through everything I've ever gone through has meant the world to me. To my teachers—D: thank you for being an awesome role model and amazing teacher. Your classes and teaching are responsible for my passion for history, and your thoughtful and kind feedback has been incredibly encouraging and heartening for me. Thank you for indulging my ramblings on Euro history! Mr. Georgules: thank you for being an amazing teacher. I truly appreciate your endless attempts to turn us into college material. You've improved my writing tremendously and it has been a privilege to get comments from you (even when they are sarcastic). I also rescind my ardent hatred of football, having recently watched Friday Night Lights. Though no promises on being a Patriots fan. Ms. Yang—thank you for being a wonderful English teacher and feminist role model. You've helped me to explore so many important topics I might never have found otherwise. Thank you so much.
MK—go meat! I love ya girl! You've been an amazing best friend to me and I'm so lucky to have you. Loved seeing the Foo Fighter with you :) MHP: Ma chère amie, I could never have survived Spanish without you. Matey, Spy, et vive la France pour toujours! CB: Alex Turner forever!! Thank you for being such a good friend, love you!! ES: Ilysm. <3
LB, BZ + AC: thank you for being amazing and constant friends. I love you guys. Everyone else--I would've written volumes if I'd had space! Love y'all too. And thank you for letting me say y'all.

To my fam/ohana—though it's said it takes a village to raise a child, apparently your combined efforts were enough to raise me. Mom, Dad, Kel, Caro, Liz + Dominiks—you've been such important parts of my life and have made me who I am today. I'm proud to have you all not only as my family but my friends. Your love and support have meant the world to me throughout my life. I am going to miss you all so much and am so blessed to have you as my family. Love you!
