a formal to remember.

Woodside Priory students traveled back to the
land before time and partied like it was 65 million years ago. Priory students dominated the dance floor, having the highest attendance record of any dance in the past three years. The formal started off with a big bang as students were taken aback by the elaborate decorations, booming DJ, and sweet treats. The most popular attraction was the photo booth, where students dressed up and released their inner velociraptor. When not enjoying delicious food or photo bombing photo booth pictures students were breaking it down on the dance floor and jamming to hits such as “Drunk in Love” by Beyonce and “Same Love” by Macklemore. The night was unforgettable and something to roar about.
Freshman Emma Ericson (9) exclaims, “It was super fun! It was my first formal and I thought the theme was cute and the photo booth was awesome. The gelato was delicious and if it got too hot inside we could go outside to the patio and cool off. I also got free flip flops!” As usual, the administration provided flip flops for girls who didn't want to dance in their uncomfortable heels all night, and there was a lot of food to replenish all the energy spent dancing.
For first time formal attendee Lindsay Schoenthaler (10), formal was a great time. She said,”It was like a light show in there. The room was filled with rainbow lights and the dinosaur statue was great for the theme. The gelato was amazing too!”
5. From the DJ's vantage point, it is easy to see how much fun Panthers had at formal. 6. Swirling lights made this formal feel straight out of a Land Before Time. 7. A decorative velociraptor embodied the theme of the dance perfectly. 8. Clint Finney (11), Patrick Tornes (11), Bailey Marsheck (11), Chris Perez (11), and Cameron Bonora (11) have some fun with the photo booth during a break from dancing.
