Saved by the Bell

The 8th graders have spent almost three years as a class, and through group projects and retreats, they have formed long lasting friendships and become a community. Elliot Dauber (8) was grateful to be able to bond with his class, “Our class is really tight with great friendships, I love eighth grade”. For new student Kelly Walsh (8), eight grade has been an opportunity for her to forge relationships with a new group of people, “Eighth grade is great, you get close to every one in your class”. Unfortunately, eighth
grade can't last forever, but Genevieve Chiu- Schaepe (8) is exited to experience high school. “I look forward to high school and to meet new people who come into our grade”, from Anna Barton's (8) point of view, being an eighth grader is a great achievement, “As a part or the 8th grade class I feel so accomplished!” Eighth grade is the end of a long middle school career for the class of 2019, but these relationships will follow them through high school, and they will remember this defining year for the rest of their lives.
