Dear future me:
I think it's narcissistic to write yourself a letter. But I think it's important.
I find myself thinking that we get better every year.
I always hate how I was the year before but let's remember that if I wasn't the person I was a year ago, I wouldn't be the person I am now, and you wouldn't be the person you are when you read this.
Your vulnerable spots are the parts that friends can weasel themselves into. Let them be.
Try your darndest to not be old. Adults suck and have no sense of imagination.
I hope that you can find joy in everything you do.
I hope that you can find a new place to belong.
And I hope you don't regret writing yourself a stupid letter in a high school yearbook.
