Brian Sullivan, Class of 1997 – graduated from Northwestern with honors. His major was American studies with a minor in religious studies.
Nathalie Alsop, Class of 1998 – is working with a friend to start a vegan cafe in San Francisco. She would like anyone who has an interest in such a project or knows of additional resources or commercial space availability to please contact her at nalsop@ups.edu., or contact the alumni office at WPS to be put in touch with her.
Suzi Kovaks, Class of 1998 – will be studying abroad in the fall semester at the Pazmany Peter Katolikus Egyetem in Budapest, Hungary and will be traveling in the summer with her brother Zoltan (Class of 2000) around Europe visiting family and friends.
Luz Lopez, Class of 1998 – was named San Mateo County Youth and Family Assistance Volunteer of the Year for her work at the county Health Center in Hoover School. The center offers a wide range of services to people from age 12 to 21. Luz began working there as a peer mentor in 1997.
Laura Timpe, Class of 1998 – just finished her first year at St. Mary’s College in Moraga and is studying art.
Teresa Falaschi, Class of 1999 - Based on her outstanding work in the humanities during her freshman year, Teresa has been accepted into the Honors in Humanities program at Stanford University.
Darren Alan Zulberti, Class of 1999– is working on KTVU-TV’s assignment desk this summer. He also hasbeenafreelancerforCNN,mostrecentlyintheLosAngelesbureau. Darrenisafull-timestudentatthe UniversityofSouthernCalifornia. Heismajoringinbroadcastjournalismandminoringinlawandpublic policy. Heplanstoproducetelevisionnewsaftergraduating.
James Cirino, Class of 2000 – was selected to serve as resident advisor for the spring semester at Embry RiddleAeronauticalUniversity. Hewillcontinueinthiscapacityduringfutureyears.
Amanda Davison, Class of 2000 – brought the wonderful Occidental College Glee Club to the campus to sing in Chapel with Priory Ensemble Singers. The college students were overnight guests in Priory family homes. Amanda also accompanied the Priory orchestra on their four-day festival cruise (see pages 4-5), holding down the cellist position that was hers last year.
Zuzka Fedorkova, Class of 2000 – will spend the summer at home in Bardejov, Slovakia, then return for the fall quarter at Stanford. She will spend the winter and spring quarters in Berlin, where she will be a part of the Stanford overseas program in international relations.
