ARE ALSO INFECTED
In the same way that a patient can become infected, our facilities should also be considered as “THE NEW PATIENT”, because surfaces within our facilities can have germs and in particular COVID-19 on its surfaces for up to 28 days.
With this in mind we need to perform outbreak / infectious cleans not just in resident rooms but also in common areas of
the facility in and around those Infectious rooms.
CAUTION: Make sure you are using the right cloth and disinfectant for the Touchpoints you are required to clean.
