BECOME A LAWYER
• I would like to study law, specialising in family and criminal law.
• Growing up in the Solomon Islands, I have been surrounded by social issues and injustices such as domestic violence and crime. My mother has worked in the Ministry of Family Affairs and Women in the Solomon Islands, which enabled me to grow up socially aware of the issues women and families face in my country.
• During Year 11 and 12, Legal Studies was my favourite subject in which I was thoroughly captivated by the topics studied such as Criminal law, Human Rights, Family and Workplace law.
• My desire is to return back to the Solomon Islands after receiving my Undergraduate Degree and to be able to make a difference in our justice system by preventing corruption, creating reform and legal change to a country that truly needs it.
