 HOW TO WIPE BATHROOM SURFACES
Patient washrooms require a high level of hygiene and cleanliness, particularly when they are shared or used by visitors.
Touchable surfaces like door handles, light switches, call buttons, taps, hand rails and toilet buttons should all be cleaned effectively and as often as required so that high levels of cleanliness can be maintained.
Always start cleaning from Patient touchable high risk surfaces toward dirtier surfaces. Toilets should be cleaned near the end of the routine just before the floor is mopped.
Do not wipe anything that a Patient or visitor could touch with a cloth that has been used to clean a toilet.
