The first thing to understand is that your cost are increasing at a compounding CPI rate, and this will cause this site to spend $2,3M more over the next 5 years, by simply doing nothing.
Cleaning Heart rate
By dividing your total minutes by the number of areas you are cleaning you will see a rough CHR. As you improve efficiencies over time your CHR will come down and your APCPD (areas per cleaner per day) will improve.
Labour
As your APDPC improve you will be able to clean extra areas or reduce your required FTE’s to a more realistic number.
Being more efficient allows you to manage better when cleaners shifts are hard to fill.
Costs
By installing the iClean management system, you will start to manage your cleaning more efficiently allowing you to clean growing facilities with the same staff.
Efficiencies can also be put towards better training, supervision, cleaning systems, or even used to pay increases salaries for great staff.
