DIVISION NAMES NEW
LEADERSHIP
The MPMA Southern Division held their meeting in May while also announcing Dr. Angela Robin as the new President, and Dr. Mark Hosking as the new Rep- resentative to the MPMA Board.
“I’m honored and am excited to serve our MPMA division members and look forward to continuing the momentum from the Division’s past leadership,” said Dr. Robin.
Dr. Robin talks about her vision in help- ing to advance the podiatric profes- sion.
“I’m working to unite other practi- tioners in Michigan to act collectively to make changes to the health care system to benefit not only physicians, but more importantly, the quality of life of patients. Affecting change to educate patients and communities on the importance of controlling obesity and subsequently diabetes could have far-reaching positive outcomes. I plan to organize and support podiatrists in our state as well as to learn from oth- er physicians about their practices and procedures that have proven benefi- cial. I encourage sharing our profes- sion’s setbacks and successes as well as the solutions implemented.”
Dr. Zeeshan Husain, MPMA President, attended the Division meeting.
“We’re grateful to Dr. Clark Johnson and Dr. William Wentworth for their as- sociation work for so many years,” said Dr. Husain. “We’re here to support the Division’s agenda, a Southern Michi- gan hub for the association.”

Dr. Mark Hosking is the new MPMA Southern Division representative to the MPMA Board.
Dr. Hosking is Board Certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University, completing his residency in Podiatric surgery from Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Macomb, Mich. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Albion College.
Dr. Hosking is a Podiatric physician at North Avenue Podiatry Services, Certified Wound Specialist Physician at Bronson Battle Creek Wound Healing Center & Hyperbaric Medicine as well as is with Grace Health. He’s been in practice since 2015.
The MPMA Congratulates Dr. Hosking in his new position.
