Porém, apesar de não ter concluído a transação, a BRF anunciou para esse ano a aquisição da empresa turca Banvit, em parceria com a QIA (Qatar Investment Authority), por US$470 milhões. However, despite not having concluded the transaction, BRF announced for that year the acquisition of the Turkish company Banvit, in partnership with QIA (Qatar Investment Authority), for US $ 470 million.
