 Volunteer Award
On Thursday 18th May, as part of Volunteers Week, Cathy Nicholls was recognised for over five years of volunteering on the SA Kodály committee, hosted by Educators SA in Hindmarsh.
SA Kodály is a voluntary organisation who run workshops for teachers every term, run training courses for teachers
in both the July and October holidays, and mentor teachers to develop their classroom music teaching skills.
     Brad Huddleston - Digital Cocaine
In February, the College was privileged to host Brad Huddleston, an international speaker, who came to talk about the dangers of technology for children today. His message was entitled Digital Cocaine , the same title as one of his books.
Topics covered included: Managing Technology Parenting Digital Kids Overcoming Digital Addiction Video Gaming and Social Media
We have now have copies of his DVD which usually retail at $25, but we are able to offer them to parents at a reduced cost of $15.

   Vetamorphus Retreat
On Friday 26th May to Sunday 28th May, students Rebekah Slade and Eve Robins from Harvest Christian College joined 130 Year 11 and 12 Vetamorphus students from around the state for their Adelaide City Retreat.
Their time together had a focus
on the mission of extending kindness and care to others. They achieved this by connecting with people in the city and extending to them the love and grace of God.
