On November 30th, the Year 7 students enjoyed their final lesson in German with Mrs Clifford for 2022. They had been researching and learning about Christmas in Germany and as a special celebration they enjoyed some traditional German treats of Marzipan chocolates from the town of Luebeck in Germany, Pferffernuesse cookies, Stollen (German Christmas cake), and their favourite craft: creating mini gingerbread houses.
If you were to ask the students what was the most enjoyable part of the lesson? - Eating all the samples, of course!
Frohe Weihnachten! (Merry Christmas!)
      Moonta Christmas Pageant
On December 10th, the Harvest community joined in the Moonta Christmas Pageant.
Our staff and students worked hard to decorate the trailer and themselves for the event.
The Christmas cheer of our participants and the public gathered to watch was obvious,
and it was a great way for us to come together and celebrate the holiday season, and share our joy.
