rooted dogmas regarding the nature of hormones, hypothalamic neurons, and endocrine regulation. His work combines uorescent imaging with genetic and behavioral tracking techniques, to track developing neural circuits relevant to social behaviors and appetite.
Prof. Orly Reiner studies the process by which brain structure is determined during embryonic development, including the migration of nascent brain cells to their nal destinations, and what goes wrong in case of developmental brain diseases.
Dr. Meital Oren-Suissa investigates the development of neuronal circuits that control behaviors that di er between males and females, with a focus on the role of the ubiquitin proteasome system.
