To enable Weizmann Institute scientists to forge ahead with their innovative neuroscience research, the Institute intends to construct a new building
to house laboratories, all the newest instrument systems, and central research service facilities—with a modern design that encourages regular interaction among sta and students. The building will serve as a hub for all activities of the Institute for Brain and Neural Sciences, including the training of students and national and international conferences and symposia. The Institute will fund
and promote research on human neurobiology, in health and disease, encompassing basic, curiosity-driven studies, research on preclinical models, and translational research.
The Institute for Brain and Neural Sciences will comprise 10 centers of research and innovation.
