But now, after rapid progress in technology and research, particularly in the last two decades, scientists nally have the tools and perspective to examine the human brain in greater-than-ever detail, using brain stimulation, sophisticated microscopy techniques, the most powerful imaging capabilities, optogenetics, genetic engineering and sequencing techniques, and more.
